Introduction

Combination of flavors that is just delicious in a slow cooker. Combination of flavors that is just delicious in a slow cooker.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 sweet potatoes, sliced
    1 cup craisins
    3 cups already-cooked brown rice
    1 yellow onion, diced
    2 small red apples, chopped
    1/2 cup carrots, sliced
    1 lb Italian sausage
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/3 cup water

Directions

Cook sausage (if uncooked) and drain before adding to the crockpot. Slice and chop all vegetables and fruits before adding to the crockpot. Stir well.

Slow cook for four hours on high until vegetables are soft.
