Ingredients

    1 lb. (16 oz.) sausage
    1 - 8 pack ( 16.3 oz.) biscuits
    4 cups milk
    1/2 cup white flour
    1 tbsp pepper

Directions

crumble sausage in skillet with high sides. Season to taste and cook thru. Preheat oven to 350 F. Once sausage is cooked thru, DO NOT DRAIN GREASE! Gradually stir in flour to coat meat and soak up grease. Reduse heat to med/low. Slowly stir in milk. Add pepper. Stir occasionally until it reaches a boil. Reduse heat to low and simmer until desired consistancy. Bake biscuits occording to package directions.
Cut biscuit in half and top with butter and approx. 3/4 cup of gravy. Refridgerate any leftover gravy. Serves: 8

    I have made this twice now and both time my family has eaten every last bite. Gravy is nice and thick and tastes wonderful! I make home-made biscuits so the calories are less. - 6/15/08

    I used skim milk, and turkey sausage. That helped a bit with the calorie count. Very helpful recipe, thank you!

    Not exactly "diet" friendly, but Very good!
    Also, it's hot! IF you don't like it that hot, I suggest you cut back on the pepper! I made a 1/2 batch and used 1tsp pepper, and I still had to add more milk so my son could eat it! :P
