A simple and tasty taco meat! A simple and tasty taco meat!
Number of Servings: 4


    one onion, chopped
    one bell pepper, chopped
    3 cloves of garlic
    20 oz. ground turkey breast
    one 16 oz. bottle salsa verde
    one package taco seasoning
    one tsp. red pepper flakes


Heat oil in large saute pan. Add red pepper flakes for thirty seconds, then add onion and pepper. After a minute or two, add the chopped garlic and contine cooking until onion is just translucent. Push the onion/pepper mix to around the edges of your saute pan and crumble the turkey into the center. Allow turkey to brown and then stir it all together and continue cooking until turkey is cooked through. Drain away any fat and add the bottle of salsa verde and taco seasoning. Stir to mix, cook covered at simmer for five minutes. You're done!
