I used a cup of whole wheat flour instead and was still delicious! I didn't even need syrup! I was able to get 4 plate sized waffles out of this recipe. Thanks! - 7/28/11

These were great! My first batch came out a bit chewy, so I turned up the temp on my waffle maker and cooked the next batch a bit longer and they were more crisp.

They were really sweet as is, so I had mine with just a little butter spread on them and they were delish. Kids loved them too.

WOW!! I loved this recipe! I used Vanilla Almond milk instead of milk and only had cinnamon applesauce so used that. They were delish! My son noticed the cinnamon but liked it and I ate mine with natural peanut butter spread on it and folded it like a sandwich. This is a definite make again! - 11/5/10

This recipe is incredible! I've been looking for a waffle to replace my KrustEaze mix, and this is it! I used canola oil instead of applesauce, since that's all I had, and these were amazing! Crisp on the outside, light and FLUFFY on the inside! Yum! - 3/26/11
