Number of Servings: 6

Beef, round steak, thin sliced 16 oz
Rice, Kraft Minute Whole Grain Brown Rice, 4 cups
Soup, beef broth bouillon and consomme, canned, condensed, commercial, 1 cup
Nestle Chef Mate Teriyaki Sauce, 2 tbsp
    Garlic, 3 cloves. diced
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Sesame Oil, 6 tbsp
    Bird's Eye Asparagus Stir-Fry, 2 cup

makes approximately 6 servings.

You will need a wok or large high sided skillet.

Prep time:

1) Cut steak into bite size chunks, then place in bowl with teriyaki sauce. (It is much easier to cut the meat when it's still slightly frozen.)

2) Dice garlic and onion together.

3) Prepare rice as directed on box, substitue beef broth for some of the water. You do not need to add butter or margarine.

4) Set out veggies so that they will begin to defrost.

Cooking time:

1) Place wok on burner set for medium high heat and place 1.5 tablespoons of sesame oil in bottom of pan. When oil is warmed, swirl around bottom of wok to coat.

2) Pour meat and marinade into wok and stir often as meat browns. Once all meat appears browned, pour out into clean bowl.

3) Clean out wok before proceeding.

4) Replace clean, dry wok on the burner and pour the remaining oil into the bottom and repeat coating motion.

5) Once the pan is hot, please garlic and onion in bottom of pan. Stir frequently as they cook together.

6) When the onions are soft add the rest of the vegetables and stir frequently as they cook.

7) Once the veggies are heated, return the meat and broth to the pan and stir together.

8) Then stir in the already cooked rice and mix all ingredients until everything is heated evenly.

You may choose to serve with additional condiments, such as soy or teriyaki sauce, or eggrolls.
