    * Water, tap, 3 cup (8 fl oz)
    * Salt, 0.25 tsp
    * Bob's Red Mill, Steel Cut Oats, 4 servings (1/4 c. = 1 svg)


Bring 3 c. of water and 1/4 tsp. of salt to boil. Add 1 c. steel cut oats. Simmer for 10-20 minutes, depending on how chewy you prefer your oatmeal.

  • I love this brand of steel cut oats. i drain a can of no sugar added peaches and add to the water to make a total of 3 cups. when the oats are cooked, i add the chopped up peaches. so quick, easy and tasty and it lasts me for 3 breakfasts. - 12/2/12
