This is a recipe from Hy-Vee that I doubled. This is a recipe from Hy-Vee that I doubled.
Number of Servings: 20


    1 C white flour
    1C whole wheat flour
    2C Quaker Multi Grain Cereal (or quick cooking oats)
    1/4 C sugar
    2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    2 C skim milk
    1/2 C egg substitute
    1/2 unsweetened applsauce


Stir to combine white and wheat flours, cereal or oats, sugar, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl. Add rest of ingredients and sitr until dry ingredients are combined. Do not over mix. Pour by 1/4 cupfuls unto a preheated griddle and cook until edges look dry and top is covered with bubbles. (You can spray the with cooking spray if you wish, I don't.) Flip and cook the other side until golden brown. The nutritional info is for 1 pancake, and I got 20 pancakes from the recipe.

This batter is a little thcker and heavier than traditional pancake batter so it takes a teeny bit longer to cook.
