    1 box Barilla Fettuccine
    1 box Pier 33 Gourmet Mussels - Tomato & Garlic
    1 small-medium onion chopped
    6-8 Basil leaves, cut
    6-8 cloves garlic, chopped (not minced)
    2 cups Barilla Marinara spaghetti sauce
    1/4 cups Philadelphia cooking creme - savory garlic
    1 tbsp


Makes 8 servings.
Cook pasta as directed on package.
In saucepan, saute onions and a little extra virgin olive oil. Once these have cleared a little add in the garlic and the basil. Saute a few more minutes. Add in Barilla sauce and Philadelphia Cooking Creme, let simmer.
Prepare mussels according to package (I usually microwave them), pour mussel juice into sauce, take off their shells, add mussel meat to sauce. Let simmer some more. Serve! May choose to add a small drizzle of olive oil to pasta to prevent sticking.
