Introduction

This is just my base for making my bolognaise. you can add different Vegetables if you like Eggplant works really well. Or change the Beef to chicken or even tofu.
it is a double batch so I like to put some in the freezer.

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 Kg Mince
    1 onion sml/med (chopped very fine)
    1 400g can mushrooms sliced (champignons)
    1 200 can capsicum (or diced very fine)
    Add garlic and herbs
    500g Tomato paste
    (NOTE: you can use beef stock cubes, I usually do 2 cubes to 1cup boiling water)
    Beef stock
    Pasta

Directions

Large Fry pan
with a dash of oil
1 onion sml/med (chopped very fine)
-cook until brown
1 can mushrooms sliced
- brown through
capsicum
- drain and heat
Add garlic and herbs brown and cook through
1 Kg of Mince
- Allow to fully brown. cook through.
Add 500g Tomato paste
- stir through
(NOTE: you can use beef stock cubes, I usually do 2 cubes to 1cup boiling water)
Add beef stock
stir through, it may need a little more water you can add this. It is supposed to be very liquidy, juicy.
Simmer for about 20mins.
Cook pasta and serve with parmesian cheese.
