Introduction

I like to make soups just by adding different things. No rime or reason to what I put in. I feel it is much more healthy then can soup.

I also freeze it in 2-cup containers for later dates. After it is frozen I transfer to seal a meal bage for longer storage.

I hope that you enjoy any of my soups. I try to keep them as low in sodium as I can for people along with myself that have heart trouble.

Ingredients

    Western Family Red Kidney Beans Dry, 2 serving
    Western Family Large Lima Beans Dry, 2 serving
    Western Family Garbanzo Beans Dry, 2 serving
    Western Family Chow Mein Vegetables, 1.5 serving
    Western family Black Beans Dry, 2 serving
    *Cabbage, Cole Slaw Mix, Fresh Express, 3.5 cup
    Celery, raw, 2 cup, diced
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 12 ounces
    Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    Carrots, raw, 2 cup, chopped
    *on the go water add 16.9 bottle, 8 serving
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 2 cup, chopped
    Peppers, sweet, red, raw, sliced, 2 cup
    *Potato, raw, 1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.)


Directions

Add 8 16.9oz nottles of water to a large soup pan
Put chicken in and boil& simmer till cooked
Remove chicken & cut into chunks put back in water now broth
Chop up all veggies and chunk uo potato add to water
Season to your taste. I add Mrs Dash, pepper. I do not ass salt.
Bring to boil again & simmer till veggies are done.
This makes 24 - 1cup servings.
You can add noodles on the side into the soup or rice if you want. (Calories for them not added)
