Introduction

A tasty fruit smoothie that's great first thing in the morning. A tasty fruit smoothie that's great first thing in the morning.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/4 cup yogurt
    1/4 cup milk
    3/4 cup water
    3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
    1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
    1 small (6") banana
    2 tbsp oatmeal
    2 tbsp flaxseed

Directions

Mix all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

I cut my bananas into 1" chunks and prefreeze them, so I will use an average of six or seven chunks.
More water can be added to change to desired consistancy. This recipe as is, with frozen bananas, comes out with a consistancy similar to slightly melted soft serve ice cream.
Makes a great addition to breakfast, or a post-workout treat.

Makes 2 servings.
