    16 oz. lean Jennie- o ground turkey, browned
    1 - 9.8 ounce package Bear Creek "Darn Good" Chili Mix
    1 - 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 - 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
    1 cup salsa
    7 cups water


Bring 7 cups water to a rolling boil. Whisk in chili mix and can of tomato paste. Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered 20-25 min., stirring occasionally. As this simmers, brown the turkey. When both the chili and turkey are ready, add the turkey to the chili along with the can of diced tomatoes and cup of salsa. Heat through. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream if desired (but add those additional calories!) Makes 8 servings that are approx. 1 1/4 cup cups each.
