    1 lb Ground beef, extra lean
    1 cup Onions, chopped
    3 tsp Garlic
    8 oz Ronzoni - Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat Lasagna Noodles (about 10)
    1 cup Hunts Diced No Salt Added Tomatoes
    28 oz Peeled Whole Tomatoes
    4 tsp Parsley, dried (1 reserved for cheese mixture)
    1 tsp Basil, dried
    1tsp Oregano, dried
    1 cup Cottage Cheese, Nonfat (not packed)
    4 tbsp Pecorino Romano Cheese
    3 sticks Kraft Polly-O String Cheese Part Skim (1 stick 28g 1 oz)
    2 Egg Whites


1. In a large skillet, brown beef with onions and garlic. Drain.
2. Puree whole tomatoes with a hand held mixer.
3. Add tomatoes, parsley, basil, and oregano.
4. Break up lasagna noodles and stir into tomato mixture.
5. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
6. Return meat mixture to the skillet and stir.
7. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
8. Grate string cheese reserving one stick for garnish.
9. Combine cottage, Romano, and 2 sticks of string cheese in a small bowl.
10. Mix in egg whites and add teaspoon of parsley.
11. Drop cheese mixture by rounded tablespoons into pasta mixture.
12. Cover and cook for 5 minutes more.
13. Sprinkle reserved cheese over top.
