Introduction

THis is a healthy low fat version of a Middle eastern staple- serve with tahini cream( see my other recipe) and Tabouli( also see my other recipe..and Melon slices, kalamata olives, and hummus and pita. Ingredients

    2 packs( 20oz each) Extra Lean(99%) Ground Turkey
    2 Tbls fried Parsley
    2 Tbls dried Mint
    2 Tbls onion powder
    1 teas saffron
    2 Tbls olive oil
    2 generous teas kefta spice
    1.2 cyo minced onion

Directions

Mix everything in a mixing bowl until just mixed( over mixing will cause toughness!) Form into 5 cylinders and form around flat skewars. (Note if you only have round one- then just cook the cylinders like you would a burger because the meat will slide around on the skewar if it isn't pretty wide and flat)

Grill 5 mins each side until done. Serve with Tahini cream.
