Bisquick makes a sandwich into a casserole! Bisquick makes a sandwich into a casserole!
Number of Servings: 10


    1 cup Bisquick
    2 cups Milk
    4 Eggs
    2 lbs Round Steak
    1 large Onion
    1-2 Green Bell Peppers
    3 Tbs Butter
    2 Cups Water
    2 Beef Boullion Cubes
    2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
    Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper to taste


Cut round steak into 1/4 inch strips, 2-3 inches long. Fry in butter in large pot. Coarsely chop onion and green pepper and add to beef. Add water and boullion cubes and simmer mixture until beef is tender (1 hour). While mixture is simmering, mix Bisquick, milk, and eggs in separate bowl. Set aside. Grease 9x13 pan or baking dish. When beef mixture reaches desired doneness, drain and add to pan. Top with cheese. Pour Bisquick batter over top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, until casserole is set.
