Introduction

Ingredients

    4 serving potato gnocci
    1 20oz pack extra lean ground turkey(99%lean)
    4 cups broccoli florets( small florets)
    1.5 cups chicken broth
    1 Tbls corn starch

Directions

YOu will need 3 pots and a steamer(or ziplock bag)

In one large deep pot- brown turkey and break into small bits as you brown.

Meanwhile in another large pot- bring salted water to a boil. When boiling- dump gnocci into water and allow to cook 3-5 minutes until it floats. remove with a slotted spoon as they come to top- Pleace in pot with browned turkey.

While gnocci is cooking steam 4 cups small broccoli flourets in either a steamer or a ziplock bag. When tender add to turkey and gnocci.

ALso while browning turkey in a small sauce pot bring 1.5 cups chicken broth(**Optional 1/8 cup white wine is also good) and 1 Tbls corn starch to a boil. When it reaches a roiling boil- remove from heat and set aside to thicken as it cools. WHen the turkey, gnocci and broccoli are all done and mixed together- pour the thickened broth over- stir well and serve immediately- makes 4 HUGE servings!
