This is a super easy and delicious way to make calzones any night of the week. This is a super easy and delicious way to make calzones any night of the week.
Number of Servings: 8


    1 Can of Reduced Fat Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers Refrig. Biscuits
    Approx. 1 Cup Fresh, Raw Spinach Leaves (washed,stems removed and dried)
    8 Med. Sized Fresh White Mushrooms (cleaned & sliced)
    1/2 C. Sweet onion (diced)
    4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    Italian Herbs, if ya like
    *Your favorite spaghetti sauce for dipping (not calculated in nutritional totals)


Flour surface and roll 1 biscuit out into a very thin circle. Layer one side w/ 1/8 of all the ingredients. Sprinkle w/ salt, pepper and italian herbs, if you like. Fold one side over the ingredients and crimp sides closed w/ a fork. Poke a few holes in the top to allow steam to escape while cooking. Layer onto a baking sheet tray that has been sprayed w/ Pam. I usually fit 4 calzones per baking sheet tray. Bake according to biscuit package instructions. Watch closely...may need to reduce temp a few minutes due to thinness of dough.

Warm your favorite spaghetti sauce and use a a dipper for your calzone.
