Introduction

hearty hot meal hearty hot meal
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    Yam/Cocoyam 200g or 2 cups diced
    1/2 cup chopped onions
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    100g smoked herring fillets
    1tbsp palm oil

Directions

wash diced yam/cocoyam
add about 2 cups water
put to boil for about 15 mins
when yam/cocoyam begins to soften add 1/2 cup of warm water.
fry onions and pepper in oil then add to mixture
Add herrings
let mixture simmer for about 15mins
food is ready!
