    1 cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze
    1/2 cup old fashioned oats
    1/2 small apple, cored and cubed
    1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (or imitation)
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 no-calorie sweetener packets
    Dash salt
    Optional toppings: berries, additional apple (not in nutrition info)


Combine all ingredients in a nonstick pot on the stove. Add 1 cup water and mix well. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.

Stirring often, cook until thick and creamy, about 12-15 minutes. Add toppings if you like.

Makes 1 serving.

  • I fixed this recipe today omitted the Almond Breeze, upped the water to 2 cups, added 1/2 tsp cinnamon, & used 1/2 medium banana mashed & 1/2 serving of raisens - YUMMY! - 3/26/11
