Ingredients

3lbs extra lean ground beef
5 med cooking onions chopped
6 cloves garlic minced
3 lg green peppers chopped
2 lg red peppers chopped
1 lg orange or yellow pepper chopped
8 stalks of celery
2 cups chopped mushrooms
2 cups red kidney beans
1 cup white beans
0.5 cups black eyed peas
0.5 cups chick peas
2 med zuchinni chopped
6-8 tbsp heaping chili powder
4 tbsp parsley flakes
3 tbsp garlic powder
3 tbsp onion powder
6 cups water
OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS TO MAKE IT SPICY
3 med jalapeno peppers minced
15-20 green chili peppers chopped
5 tbsp cayenne pepper
5 tbsp dried chili pepper seeds
Directions
brown ground beef with onions, garlic, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder.
Once browned pour into large stock pot
Add all chopped veggies, water, chili powder and stir
Bring to a boil on med heat stirring frequently
Once boiling simmer on low with lid for 1.5-2 hours stirring occasionally.
TO MAKE IT SPICY (I separate my chilli into 2 pots once mixed. 3 parts in one pot, 1 part in the other pot. I make my 1 part one spicy by adding the spicy ingredients listed. the longer you allow it to simmer the hotter it becomes.)
