Introduction

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup Parkay cholesterol free butter-53% vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp salt--I use NoSalt, a salt substitute
    1 Tbsp pepper
    4 cups non-fat milk--I make mine with powdered and the water from cooking the veggies
    4 medium potatoes, cut up with skins on
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 celery stalks, chopped
    1 can oysters

Directions

Put oysters (with juice), potatoes, onion, & celery in a large pot of boiling water. Cook until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
While Melt the butter with salt & pepper in a large sauce pan. Stir in flour & cook into a ball. Slowly add milk, stirring as it thickens, cook 1 minute.
When vegetables are done, drain and add milk mixture. Simmer on low till you're ready to serve.
Makes 8 delicious servings.
