Ingredients


    Ingredients:
    Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 21 oz (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, sliced (remove)
    Garlic, 2 clove (remove)
    Regular Coffee, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Soy sauce (shoyu), low sodium, .25 cup (remove)
    Corn Starch, .25 cup (remove)
    Water, tap, .25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Directions

Place half of the onions in bottom of crockpot. Put roast on top of onions. Mince the garlic and spread over top of roast then add the rest of onions. Mix the coffee with soy sauce and pour over all. Cook on low setting 9 to 10 hours. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth and pour into the crock pot. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes or until gravy is thickened. If you don't want to use the juice from cooking for gravy you may make your own and discard the broth.,
