1/2 head cabbage, chopped into 1 inch pieces
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
salt, to taste (nutritional info for 1/2 tsp)
fresh ground pepper, to taste (nutritional info for 1/4 tsp)
1 cup broth (gluten-free optional)
Directions
1 Heat oil and butter over low heat in large heavy and wide saute pan.
2 Add cabbage, salt and pepper, and stir for 5 minutes.
3 Add broth and bring to boil
4 cover and simmer over medium-low heat, stirring often, for about 15 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
5 Uncover and let juices reduce to about half, stirring often to prevent burning.
6 Serve hot.
