Ingredients

    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. raisins and currants mixed
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour (I prefer King Arthur)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 lg. eggs
    2 tbsp. of sugar
    4 oz. melted butter

Directions

gently add all ingredients together. Knead. Pat into a flattened circle. Cut circle into two. Cut each 1/2 into 6 pieces. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 15min at 350 degrees.

Can be frozen.
