    1 pound ground turkey
    1 tblsp chopped garlic
    1 can (10oz) chili beans
    1 can (10oz) pinto beans
1 can (10oz) kidney beans, drained
1 can (10oz) black beans, drained
1 can (2.25oz) tomato sauce or tomato paste
    1 envelope taco seasoning
1 can (20oz) canned tomatoes, diced or chopped
    1 onion, chopped
1 cup red wine (anything you'd drink)

1. Brown turkey meat, garlic, onion, and taco seasoning.
2. Put beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and wine into slow cooker. If you want thicker chilli, add tomato paste; for thinner, add more tomato sauce.
3. Add turkey mixture.
4. Stir and set to low if you want to cook it all day, 4 hours on high if you want it sooner. It's already cooked so you're just heating it through to let the flavors combine.

  • This a very tasty receipe and easy to make. I use chili seasoning rather than taco seasoning and I add a can of chopped green chills. - 11/15/11
