Introduction

This is basically my mom's oatmeal recipe, with ratios figured it out. It is not boiled to snot. This is basically my mom's oatmeal recipe, with ratios figured it out. It is not boiled to snot.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
    1/8 cup raisins
    1/8 cup cashews (or nuts of your choice)
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1/4 cup water (dry measure cup, NOT volume)

Directions

1) Combine all dry ingredients in bowl, have a saucer or close-fitting lid-like item nearby...
2) Measure 1/4 cup of water (dry measure cup) and put in microwave for 1 minute.
3) Stir hot water and dry ingredients together, place lid on top.
4) Let sit for 5 minutes, top as desired (milk, yogurt, etc.)
5) Enjoy!

Serving Size: Makes 1 bowl of oatmeal.
