Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 can of Pillsbury French bread loaf dough
    1 0z. can of tomato sauce
    1 lb. of Jennie O Extra Lean Ground turkey
    4 pieces of cooked Kirtland brand bacon, crumbled
    1 cup low moisture part skim mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 small can mushroom pieces and stems, drained
    1/2 of a green pepper, chopped
    seasonings to taste

Directions

Cook ground turkey (if it comes in a 20 oz package, remove 4 oz. for another time). Add desired seasonings. Add tomato sauce.

Unfold french bread loaf and spread on pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Precook about 8 to 10 minutes.

Spread meat mixture on top of crust. Add mushrooms, peppers, and cheeses. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

Cook another 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings
