Ingredients

6 lbs.Ground Beef 90%
Egg, fresh, 6 large
Celery, raw, 8 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long)
Onions, raw, 2 large
Garlic, 8 cloves
3 Tbsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce
Oregano, ground, 2 tbsp
Parsley, dried, 2 tbsp
Parmesan Cheese, grated, 1 cup
4C Seasoned Breadcrumbs, 1 cup
Black Pepper, 1 tsp
Large 67 oz. jar Prego traditional Italian sauce or your favorite sauce. Sauce NOT included in nutritional information.
Directions
In a food processor process celery until fine
In a food processor process onion and garlic until fine
Add all ingredients in large bowl and mash with potato masher until well mixed.
Form golf ball sized meatballs and place in a large non stick frying pan [will make 4 frying pans full]
Cover and brown on one side on medium heat, about 5 minutes.
Turn meatballs over and brown uncovered about 5 minutes
I pour off pan juices and wipe pan with paper towel between batches, if I am in a hurry I will use 2 pans at the same time.
Just cover bottom of large crockpot with sauce and put first layer of meatballs in then just cover layer with more sauce
Repeat until you run out of meatballs about 4 layers.
Turn crock pot on low and when warmed ready to serve or take to party.
