    3 ripe bananas, mashed
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 1/2 cups whole grain flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    3 cups uncooked quick oats
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 cup chocolate chips


Mix ingredients together. Spray 9 x 13 pan with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350' for 30-35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

  • Sept. 10/09. Very good. I used 100% whole grain, whole wheat flour. I also used 1/2 c . walnuts, 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 c. coconut and used a pizza cutter to make 24 bars. = 158 calories, 5.5 g fat, 48 mg sodium, carbs 24 g. Very good. Thanks for sharing. - 9/11/09
