    1 cup yellow cornmeal
    1/2 cup flour
    1 tbsp. baking powder
    6 tbsp. smart balance buttery spread
    1/2 cup almond milk

    Spices and herbs as desired.


Combine the dry ingredients. Add smart balance and break up with a fork until the mixture is crumbly. Pour in almond milk and stir. Drop by tablespoon into boiling hot soup. Cover and let steam for 20 minutes.
