    1 1/2 cups shredded green cabbage
    1 1/2 cups shredded red cabbage
    1/2 cup chopped pitted dates
    2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    1 teaspoon honey
    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    2 tablespoons slivered almonds


In a large salad bowl, combine the cabbages and dates. In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, vinegar, honey, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the coleslaw, toss lightly, then sprinkle with almonds and toss again.
