Slow Cooker Version of My Grandma's Family Recipe with Turkey Bacon. Slow Cooker Version of My Grandma's Family Recipe with Turkey Bacon.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    3 Cups of Pinto Beans (Cleaned)
    12 Slices Turkey Bacon, Diced
    2 Cans of Rotel (2.5 serving cans)
    8 0z Bag of Fresh Spinach (or more)
    2 Medium Onions, Diced
    6 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
    Salt and Course Black Pepper (to taste)


Directions

Place3 cups cleaned and rinsed pinto beans into crockpot. Cover with 6 cups of water and let soak for at least 5 hours (or over night).
Add Onion, Garlic, Salt, Pepper and Bacon then cook for 4 hours on Low.
Stir in Rotel and Spinach and continue cooking for 2-3 hours or until finished.


Serving Size: About 10 1-Cup Serings
