Introduction

a "quick" lasagna with no noodles. a "quick" lasagna with no noodles.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb ground beef
    1 cup Quick cooking barley
    2 cups low sodium beef broth
    1 1\2 cups cottage cheese
    1 cup shredded mozzarella
    1 jar Spaghetti Sauce
    2 tsp parsley

Directions

Brown ground beef and drain
Meanwhile, cook barley in broth according to directions on package (12 minutes)

Spread 1\3 jar spaghetti sauce on bottom of casserole dish.
Sprinkle 1\2 of ground beef over sauce.
Spread 1 1\2 cups of cooked barley over meat.
spread 3\4 cup cottage cheese over barley
Sprinkle 1\3 cup mozzarella over cottage cheese
sprinkle 1 tsp parsley over mozzarella

Repeat above steps using your ingredients. Top with last 1\3 jar of sauce and 1\3 cup mozzarella

bake at 375 for 25 min
let stand 5 minutes
