    2 heads of broccoli
    3 stalks of celery
    1 medium onion
    1 medium potato
    2 tbs thyme
    2 tbs all-purpose flour
    1 quart chicken broth, low sodium
    1 cup fat free half-and-half
    3 tbs parsley leaves or chives (optional)
    1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese for topping
