Introduction

Found this recipe going through one of my cookbooks. I altered it so it is not exactly as it is found in the book. There was no Splenda or Cinnamon. I also used pecans instead of the Walnuts it was calling for. Found this recipe going through one of my cookbooks. I altered it so it is not exactly as it is found in the book. Ingredients

    1 Joseph's Oat Bran and Stone Ground Wheat Pita
    1 T. neufchatel cheese
    1/2 apple, sliced
    splenda, optional
    cinnamon, optional
    1 T. chopped pecans

Directions

Slice apple and sprinkle with cinnamon and microwave for 30 seconds.
Meanwhile, spread cheese on pita and sprinkle with nuts.
Place apple slices on the pita and sprinkle with Splenda if you desire.
