Introduction
English, sticky oatmeal tray bake or muesli bar (a bit like Granola but more decadent and moist.) Can be adapted with whatever store cupboard ingredients you have. Ingredients

200g butter
200g brown sugar
200g honey or golden syrup
400g rolled oats
50g dried fruit (raisins/dessicated coconut/glacé cherries/chocolate chips)
(i add a 1/2 tsp of salt if the butter is unsalted)
Directions
Melt all the meltable bits in a pan then stir in the non-melty bits.
Squash into a suitably sized baking tray
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180degrees Celsius (or until golden brown). I am erring on cooking them slightly thinner - around 2cm/1inch and cooking a little longer than 15 minutes. You still want them to be soft in the middle when they come out...but they're best (IMO) when they're chewy-sticky....
Put in airtight, lockable container in a very high place (so you don't eat them all in one go!)
Serving Size: makes 24 slices
