    1.5 cup baby carrots cut in half
    1 cup onion chopped
    2 large potatoes cut into cubes
    2 stalks celery cut into small slices
    1 can beef broth
    1 pound stew meat
    2 cloves garlic


Cook meat on medium heat with olive oil to brown. Remove meat and toss in onions, garlic, celery, garlic, cook til soft. Return Meat to pan. Add water and beef broth. Cook covered for one hour. Add potatoes after one hour and cook for 30-40 minutes more. During the last 5 minutes, stir a little flour and water together and add to stew (to thicken sauce). Makes 3 - 1.5 c servings
