An easy recipe for a spinach and cheese omelette. An easy recipe for a spinach and cheese omelette.
Number of Servings: 1


    1/2 cup frozen spinach
    1 large egg
    2 egg whites
    2 slices Kraft 2% Cheddar Cheese (diced)
    1 Scallion, raw (diced)
    1/8 tsp each salt and pepper
    Butter Flavour Canola Oil Cooking Spray


1. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Whisk with a fork for approximately 20 seconds. Add salt and pepper.
2. Chop scallions, place in egg mixture, and whisk for an additional 15 seconds.
3. Add in frozen spinach, whisk.
4. Add in diced cheese, whisk.
5. Spray frying pan with non-stick cooking spray. Heat.
6. Place egg mixture into pan. After approximately 3 minutes, fold egg mixture in half. Cook an additional 2 minutes.

(As a trick, I put the omelette on a plate, and microwave for an additional minute to ensure that the middle cooks fully.)
