Ingredients

    Raw Beets - 3
    Earth Balance (or butter substitute) - 1 - 1.5 Tb
    Shallots - 1-3 tsp (or more, depending on your preference)
    Garlic - 2-3 cloves
    Tempeh - 1/2 a package = about 1 cup, sliced
    Bragg All Natural Liquid Amino - to taste

Directions

1. Slice and cube raw, peeled beets.
2. Sautee on medium heat for 10-15 minutes in 1-1.5 Tb of Earth Balance.
3. Add in shallots (chopped or sliced) and garlic (crushed or sliced). Add 1-2 Tb of water.
4. Reduce to low heat for 5-7 minutes.
5. Add Liquid Aminos to taste.
