Number of Servings: 12


    1 lb Jimmy Dean Sausage (sage) - cooked
    10 eggs, beaten
    3 C milk
    2 tsp dried mustard
    1 tsp salt
    6 C cubed bread (sliced sourdough)
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    2 C sharp cheddar cheese
    1/2 C sliced mushrooms
    2 medium tomatoes
    1/2 C sliced green onions


Preheat oven to 350. Combine eggs, milk, mustard and salt. Stir well. Butter a 9x13 baking dish. Layer half the bread cubes, sprinkle half of the pepper, half of the cheese, half of the sausage and half of the mushrooms, tomatoes and green onions. Repeat layering. Pour egg mixture evenly over casserole. Bake uncovered 55-60 minutes.
