Introduction

Ingredients

    1 (7g) envelope Knox Gelatin
    1/4 cup cold water
    1/4 cup boiling water
    3 tbsp granulated sugar
    1 tbsp lemon juice
    2/3 cup grape juice
    2 egg whites

Directions

Soften gelatin in cold water. Make a syrup of sugar and boiling water. Bring to a boil and continue to boil 5 minutes. Pour sugar syrup over gelatin, stir until dissolved. Stir in lemon and grape juices. Refrigerate until partially set - looks like egg whites and beat until foamy. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add to juice mixture and beat until mixture thickens. Pile into a crystal bowl. Serve with Custard Sauce.
Makes 4 - 1 cup servings.
