This is a variation of meatloaf, substituting some meat with oatmeal This is a variation of meatloaf, substituting some meat with oatmeal
Number of Servings: 10


    1 lb of Lean Ground Beef
    2 small cans (1 cup) of Cream of Mushroom Soup
    Quick Oats, dry. Not instant.
    2 eggs (I use medium)
    1 package (2 oz) of brown gravy
    6 Large fresh mushrooms, cleaned and chopped
    1 cup of chopped onion, fresh


Makes 10 2" square servings.

Mix the beef, onion, 1 can of mushroom soup, oats and eggs together. Put in 9" x 9" square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until done inside.

Take the other can of mushroom soup, the mushrooms, and brown gravy mix and mix them together.

After 45 minutes take the meatloaf out of the pan and spread the mushroom gravy mix on the top.

Place back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes.

Let cool.
