    1 cup butter
    ¾ cup powdered sugar
    2 teaspoon almond extract
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    2 cups flour
    1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, etc...Your choice)


In a large bowl, beat powdered sugar, butter and extracts until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, salt and nuts. Mix until dough forms. Shape into 1 inch balls. Please on un-greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes. Watch closely until set but not brown. Remove from cookie sheet, cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar. Let cool completely and roll again in powdered sugar.

To make this an extra special treat…I like form the dough over Hershey’s Kisses, so you have a chocolate center.
