Ingredients

    Beef mince (lean, Sainsburys British Beef), 500 gram(s) (remove)
    Carrots, raw, 3 medium (remove)
    Celery, raw, 3 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) (remove)
    Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Tinned Tomatoes - with RDAs, 800 gram(s) (remove)
    Red Wine, 200 mL (remove)
    Garlic, 3 tsp (remove)
    Tomato Paste, 50 grams (remove)
    3 bay leaves

Directions

1. Heat oil in pan, add all veg, turn down to lowest heat and let steeam for 20 mins, covered.
2. Turn heat up add mince and brown.
3. Add everything else and cook for 1.5 hours, using potato masher every now and then to make sauce thick.
4. Serve with pasta, parmesan cheese and garlic bread
