I made this last Friday and it was delicious. My husband loved it and I may spice it up a little next time, with some paprika or chili powder. My kids were not so enamored with it, but they are only 5 and 7 and still learning to try and like lots of different foods. Made great leftover sandwichs! - 1/26/09

This is excellent and very easy. I agree with the member who suggested adding the sauce to the meat as it can tend to be a bit too saucy. I served it in tacos with avacado , sour cream, cheese and crunchy salad. I accompany it with a three bean salad. Absolutely delicious my family adore this meal. - 8/30/13

This was very, very, very good and what the other person said about it being to much sauce. Is true!!! So what I did was put the meat in another pan and then pour the juice over it. I'm in the military (3d CR) any way we had a pot luck and I made this it was gone in no time. Try sauce w/Chicken - 5/22/13

I am going to make less sauce since it seems like there is too much, probably from the meat juices.I will add my sauce onto the meat instead of mixing together to make sure I only have the amount of sauce I need on the meat -and others can do the same to theirs. Pulled pork is one of my favorites - 2/16/13

I made it exactly as written but I only had a 2 lb roast. I cut all the fat off first. Great flavor, except was way too spicy for me. I did have to thicken it with Wonder flour. I might make it again and cut back on spice. I don't think the calories can be accurate though unless you list name brands - 1/18/13

2 pound roast. Left out the ketchup Added .5 cup water and probably could have eliminated it altogether. Eased up on spices as I prefer sweet to spicy. Used a whole onion. Half diced, half sliced. Caramelized nicely and tastes great with the meat. Cooked uncovered last hour to thicken sauce. - 1/8/13

Excellent! I mixed up the sauce the night before so I could quickly throw it into the crockpot at lunchtime. Added a mixture of cornstarch and water to the pot to let it thicken while I shredded the pork. Served it over a baked potato, Texas-style. No more store-bought Lloyd's BBQ for MY family! - 11/8/12

Talk about YUM! I added about 7 ounces of water instead of 8, and didn't have garlic powder, so I left out the salt and added a half a teaspoon of garlic salt. It cooked for maybe an hour or two more and the sauce was perfect and it tasted awesome! Something I can easily make for a get together! - 2/27/12
