    mix 2 cups flour, 1 tsp of bak soda/powder

    mix 1 stick butter, 1.5 cups of combined sugar doesn't matter how much of each just 1.5 cups total, 2 eggs, 1/2-1 tbsp cinnamon depending on preference, 1 tsp of each nutmeg, ginger and 1/4-1/2 tsp of cloves, 1tsp salt (optional).
    add approx. 3/4 can plain pumpkin & 1/2 cup of fat free sour cream. mix well and add flour mixture

    on the side mix desired amt of fat free cream cheese (3/4 or full sm. container) w/ 3 tbsp of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of vanilla

    fill half of muffin cups with batter and drop dollop of cream cheese filling in and cover with remaining batter.

    in separate bowl combine 1-2 pats of butter, approx. 2-3 spoon fulls of flower, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp white sugar, 1 tbsp (or more) cinnamon, chopped pecans and chopped crystalized ginger to liking sprinkle over prepared batter

    oven at 375 for 20-25 min

    possible additions for mixing in batter or for topping: walnuts, raisins, craisins, choc.chips, sweetened coconut
