Ingredients

    2 tsp olive oil
    1/2 to 1 cup chopped onions
    1/2 cup chopped red pepper
    1/2 cup chopped carrot
    1/2 cup chopped celery
    3 cups cooked lentils
    1 cup oats
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. yellow mustard
    2 servings egg whites

Directions

Cook 1.5 cups dry lentils in water(this will be 3 cups cooked)Add olive oil to pan, add onion, pepper, celery, carrot amd saute times 10 minutes. Add chili powder, mustard , salt and pepper. Add to cooked lentils in mixing bowl, add tomato paste, oats and egg whites. Mash moderatley. Form into patties.
Oil a baking pan lightly, I spray it with an olive oil spray. Bake at 350 degree for 20-25 minutes. Turn over half way through. Serve on a roll.
