Introduction

use more or less water for desired thickness
use more or less water for desired thickness

Ingredients

    1 16 oz bag dry split peas

    1/2 cup each diced small:
    Onions
    Celery
    Green bell peppers
    Eat Smart Broccoli Slaw Mix,
    Eat Smart Sunrise Slaw

    1/2 Jalepeno (finely diced)

    1/2 Butterball Everyday Smoked Turkey Sausage (3.5 oz)
    diced small

    1/2 tsp each:
    blk pepper and garlic powder

    salt to taste

Directions

rinse peas, drain
cover with 8 cups of cold water

saute' remaining ingredients
add to peas

bring to boil
turn heat down to low, cover and cook 45 minutes to 1 hour to desired tenderness

salt to tast at the end
