    1.5 c ketchup
    8 ounces tomato sauce
    .5 c packed brown sugar
    .5 c cider vinegar
    .33 c Worcestershire sauce
    2 T low-sodium soy sauce
    2 T lemon juice
    1 t ginger root, minced or powder
    .5 t black pepper
    .5 t dry mustard
    .5 t garlic powder
    .5 t onion powder
    .5 t dried oregano
    .5 t dried basil
    .5 t red pepper flakes, optional
    .25 t ground allspice


Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and mix. (I eyeball all the spices.) Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes.
