    1 package Hambeens 15 bean soup
    1 20 oz pkg of lean ground turkey
    1 onion, chopped
    1 cup chopped zucchini
    1 cup chopped carrots
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup crushed tomatoes
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2-3 tbsp chili powder
    2-3 tsp cumin
    2-3 jalepeno peppers, diced (optional)


Soak beans overnight. Cook 15 bean soup according to directions. (I like to add a large chicken bouillon cube to beans while cooking). When there is one hour left of beans cooking, brown turkey with garlic and chopped onions in a large saute pan. Then add carrots, celery, and zucchini and saute for 10 more minutes. (I also use sweet peppers, mushrooms, or any other vegetables in my fridge that need to be used up), Add all ingredients including spices to beans and simmer for last 45 minutes or so. Add extra chili powder or cumin to taste. If chili too thick, add chicken broth to thin. Makes appr 16 1 cup servings.
